This 1925 bungalow in Alameda needed more space for a blended family. The entire house was stripped and the roof cut off to prepare for a second story which included a master suite, deck and third bathroom. The custom cabinets and milled window/door casing kept the feeling of the original architectural features. We also installed a radiant heat floor, making the rooms warm and cozy, and nice on the toes.
